What does needle-free mean?

The name describes an option using electrical stimulation without inserting acupuncture needles. It should not be assumed to be identical to needle acupuncture or to have the same effects.

Ask Nyx to explain the actual method proposed for you before you decide. The details of the equipment and how it is used matter to suitability, even though you do not need to choose a device yourself.

What if I do not like the sensation?

Needle-free does not necessarily mean sensation-free. Ask what sensations to expect from the method being offered, and speak up if anything is uncomfortable. You can ask to adjust, pause or stop.

There is no need to increase stimulation just to make treatment feel stronger. Your comfort and choice remain part of the decision.

What will we discuss at the first visit?

Tell Nyx what is bothering you and why you prefer no needles. Your health history and preferences help guide a discussion of suitability, what the session involves and how to give feedback during treatment.

You do not need to choose equipment or stimulation settings yourself. Understand the process and agree on a goal before deciding to begin; you can ask to adjust or stop if you feel uncomfortable.

How do I choose between options?

Start with your concern and your preference about needles. Gentle acupuncture, needle-free stimulation and hands-on care are different choices; none should be imposed because you booked a consultation.

At ALLBODY HEALTH, private Needle-Free Acupoint Stimulation is listed at $90 for 45–60 minutes, with the existing $80 age concession. If you would rather ask questions first, use the free consultation.

Suitability comes first

Tell Nyx about implanted electrical devices, pregnancy or possible pregnancy, heart conditions, epilepsy, altered sensation, skin problems or recent surgery. These need assessment against the actual device instructions and your circumstances; this is not a complete list of contraindications. Stop and report unpleasant symptoms rather than continuing through them.
